THE STATUS OF RELIGIOUS PLURALISM (FROM THE ISLAMIC POINT OF VIEW)
Abstract
The exchange of views in modern world has become so easy taht the people around the world have become well acquainted with each other's views. So, various debates on issues related to their ideas and beliefs have sprung up. One of the debates is around the issue: “Weather there exist only one true religion, or, every religion is true in its nature and can save our lives in the world hereafter?” “Yes” to all religions makes the core of religious plurisim. Study of the issue in depth and from all angles is necessory. The article explanes the ideology of pluralism first, and then presents the Qur'anic and Islamic view upon the issue.
عصر حاضر میں دنیا بھر کے لوگوں میں آراء و نظریات کا تبادلہ اتنا آسان ہو چکا ہے کہ لوگ ایک دوسرے کے نظریات سے بخوبی آشنا ہیں۔ لوگوں کے عقائد و نظریات پر مختلف مباحث معرض وجود میں آئی ہیں ۔ ان مباحث میں سے ایک بحث یہ ہے کہ آیا دنیا میں محض ایک دینِ حق پایا جاتا ہے یا ہر دین اپنی ماہیت کے اعتبار سے ہماری آخرت سنوار سکتا ہے؟ سب ادیان کو آخرت کا نجات دہندہ قرار دینا، دینی کثرتیت کا جوہر ہے۔ اس مقالے میں پہلے دینی پلورل ازم کے نظریہ کی وضاحت پیش کی گئی ہے اور اس کے بعد اس بارے میں قران اور اسلام کا نظریہ پیش کیا گیا ہے۔
