BASIC MORAL VIRTUE; CRITERIA & CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract

Determination of the scope of morality and the basic virtue are very important issues of moral knowledge. The basic maral virtue can direct moral attributes and actions towards desired objectives. In this article, the focus is on the standard according to which the acquired qualities and voluntary actions of man are valued. As a result, it becomes clear that the source of all attributes, actions and standards is the essence of Almighty Allah and His wisdom. The second and third parts of the article discuss the basic moral virtue, its quality and characteristics. According to writer “Theism” is the basic moral virtue for all moral virtues and its standard is closeness to Allah Almighty. This is a voluntary and internal phenomenon that results in the form of faith and, actions follow such a state.

اخلاقی فضائل کے دائرہ کار کے تعین کے ساتھ بنیادی اخلاقی فضیلت کا تعین، علم اخلاق کے مہم ترین مسائل شمار ہوتے ہیں۔ درحقیقت، بنیادی اخلاقی فضیلت ہی ہے جو اخلاقی صفات اورا فعال کو انسان کے مطلوبہ ہدف کی جانب رخ دے سکتی ہے۔ اس مقالے کے پہلے حصہ میں بحث کا محور یہ ہے کہ انسان کی اکتسابی صفات اور  اختیاری افعال کس معیار کے مطابق قدر و قیمت کے حامل ہوتے ہیں ۔اس حصے میں یہ نتیجہ لیا گیا ہے کہ تمام اخلاقی صفات و افعال اور معیارات کا مبداء اللہ تعالی کی ذات اور اس کی حکمت ہے۔مقالے کے دوسرے اور تیسرے حصے میں بنیادی اخلاقی فضیلت اور اس کے معیاروخصوصیات کے متعلق بحث کی گئی ہے ۔اس حصے کے مطابق، خداپرستی ہی وہ بنیادی اخلاقی فضیلت ہے جو تمام اخلاقی فضائل کی بنیاد ہے اور خدا پرستی کا معیار، قرب خداوندی ہے۔یہ ایک اختیاری اورقلبی امر ہےجو ایمان کی صورت میں ظاہر ہوتا ہے اورعمل اس کا لازمہ ہے۔
