THE IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING LESSONS FROM HISTORY FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF IMAM KHOMENI

Abstract

“History” is an important science, which Imam Khomeini has a deep study of. He has also described the important principles regarding the study of history and has emphasized to study history in the light of these principles and gain insight. Historical experiences of the Iranian nation and other nations; and particularly, the historical experiences of the Shiites form the most important principles of Imam Khomeini's political theory. In this article, some basic concepts have been presented on the importance of learning lessons from history in the view of Imam Khomeini.
